If anyone could take attention away from Channing Tatum performing Beyoncé songs in drag, it’s a surprise visit from Beyoncé herself.
Tatum learned this the hard way tonight on an episode of “Lip Sync Battle” that has half of Twitter freaking out. He and his wife, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, were competing on the show, which pits celebrities against each other in lip-sync competitions. It had been rumored for a while that Beyoncé might show up, and she made everyone’s night by doing just that.
Things started out tame and kind of incredibly weird when Tatum performed as Elsa from “Frozen.” Here’s a nice gif of the performance to haunt your dreams:

Then, things took a more sensual turn as Dewan-Tatum performed a “Magic Mike”-themed lap dance (look at that hip action…):

And then, like we mentioned before, Channing Tatum, America’s muscular sweetheart, started straight up whipping his weave around like Queen Bey herself. He was getting really into it, too.

As if that wasn’t enough, Beyoncé showed up out of nowhere.

She proceeded to lip-sync to her own song. So meta.

Seriously though, Channing Tatum is the breakout star in all this. He needs to shoot a tutorial for this hair stat.

Beyoncé cameo aside, though, how cool is it that Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum — one of America’s sexiest married couples — just basically swapped genders on live TV for our entertainment?
Maybe it was a political statement to normalize cross-dressing and gender fluidity. Maybe it was an elaborate ploy to get the entire country to watch a super hot and secretly kinky couple’s foreplay. Either way, it makes you think.
