Th4ys comes from Favela da Minhoca, in the South Zone of São Paulo, Grajaú. A DJ and music producer, she represents funk culture, spreading the scene and taking the favela party experience from Brazil to the world. For Th4ys, the funk beat is about collective celebration and healing energy for the communities. The kind of sound that keeps everyone dancing all night, feeling the heavy bass of mandelão and all the different styles of São Paulo funk. In a scene where only a few women are at the forefront of music production, her movement is a statement — a celebration of collective power, feminine strength, and the global impact of sounds from the Brazilian peripheries.
