Just like Trey Songz and Justin Bieber, we love our foreign girls and we wanted you to get to know them (and where they came from) just a little bit better. Each week, we’re asking these passport yielding babes about their aspirations, Instagram game and what they think about this bizarre place we call America and why they decided to make it their final destination. Imagine their culture shock when they realized Donald Trump or Kanye could so easily run for president. If you hail from a faraway land and would like to let us know what you think, submit this survey and your cutest Instagram pic to erika@galoremag.com for a chance to be featured.

Name: Grace Tame

Age: 20

Instagram: @alienbeachpunk

Where I’m from: Tasmania, Australia

Now I live: West Hollywood, California

Why I moved: The countless opportunities, the peanut butter appreciation and proximity to generally sexier people

Who I am, basically: designer, artist, illustrator, consumer of chocolate biscuits

I only speak heavy Australian slang when I’m trying to confuse Americans (heheh)

What’s the weirdest American slang you’ve picked up since moving here? I say “bunch” all the time when it doesn’t work grammatically, like “a whole bunch of water”???

My favorite food from Tasmania is NOT fucking Vegemite (for the record, it tastes like FEET), probably Pavlova

Favorite song ATM: Brook and Waxing by WHY?

Biggest culture shock moment: Seeing that someone like Donald flipping Trump can run for president and no one can stop them*??!?!?!!!?*

What my parents just don’t get about American culture: My parents don’t live here but my Dad visited recently and doesn’t understand why people wear sneakers with every outfit. He also doesn’t understand Donald Trump and thinks guns are SILLY.

The dumbest thing a guy has said to me about my culture while attempting to flirt with me: “You’re from Tasmania? Does that make you a Tasmanian devil?” Or “you must miss Steve Irwin”. OK sure.

Favorite thing to post on Insta? Art and quirky outfits

An American stereotype I’ve found to be 100% true: Americans fucking love their country, but, alas, unfortunately not many seem to know much at all about anywhere else. Like, Tasmania may as well be Mordor.

Worst thing about American guys/girls: They spectacularly embarrass themselves when they try to mimic my accent and I get terrible secondary embarrassment. Also nobody can drive (whatthehell)

Best thing? They get really, really excited about everything

Donald Trump, Kanye West, or Hillary Clinton for president? No no no000, BERNIE!!!
